Geoffrey Scheer, Managing Director of the training firm Access Communications, will provide a one-hour “Respect in the Workplace” training program in sexual harassment awareness and diversity.  Geoffrey will invite members of the audience (or use predetermined chapter members/Board Members) to perform several brief scenes with him depicting situations of discrimination and harassment.  The audience will then be invited to suggest ways the various situations can best be handled, and alternative behaviors will be demonstrated and evaluated.  Each scenario is followe

The target audience for this seminar is HR professionals and any small business owners.  This presentation will go through some relatively recent changes and developments in employment and labor law that have come through state and federal legislation and court decisions.  It will include do’s and don’ts and hopefully some insights for HR professionals relative to the changes.

This will also include some reflections on developing trends or stated directions taken by policy makers and enforcement.
