INVESTIGATIONS Is your Organization ready? Institutions and organizations are increasingly expected to conduct a thorough, neutral investigation of allegations of impropriety, misuse of authority, and sexual harassment, among many other issues. No organization, public or private, non-profit or for-profit, can afford to ignore or minimize these allegations. Stakeholders, employees, the public, and funders increasingly expect a timely, rigorous, and competent investigation. Employers face a challenging world in which they must maintain a workforce free from sex-based harassment and bullying, particularly given that employers can be held responsible for harassing behavior by employees at all levels and by non-employees, such as customers.
