The Great Resignation. Changing workplace dynamics. Global economic uncertainties. Elevated stress and burnout. These are just a few of many challenging forces facing future-focused leaders today. How will you meet these challenges? Only with your best leadership—day in and day out.
Your best leadership means more than just being a good boss. The best leaders learn to lead well in all directions. They lead upward to superiors and across among their peers throughout the organization. And it all starts with self-leadership: you can’t lead others well without first leading yourself well. Building this leadership framework into your culture will help you decrease turnover, increase engagement, break down silos, and develop a flourishing leadership pipeline that produces future leaders from within the organization. This Deep Dive is based on Jon’s book, Mission-Critical Leadership: How Smart Managers Lead Well in All Directions.
Learning objectives:
1. Expand your view of leadership and what it takes to be a successful leader.
2. Discover the two R’s of leadership and how they influence your leadership style.
3. Explore actionable tips to lead well in all directions.
4. Recognize the habits and behaviors crucial to leadership effectiveness.
