Servant Leadership is not a theory as much as it is a philosophy---a Way of Being.  The Servant Leader knows that leadership is NOT about themselves and the Servant Leader is always asking, “What’s best?” for the team, department, organization, and community.

In this engaging and inspiring presentation, Ted Schick, Schick will outline and discuss the 3 Assumptions, 5 Ways of Being and the 10 Characteristics of the Servant Leader as well as real life examples of how the Servant leader acts and behaves from taking care of the team, working alongside, providing what they need and ideally, creating more Servant Leaders.

    Objectives are:

    • We will list and describe the 3 Assumptions of Servant Leadership from leading as a privilege to one’s unwavering responsibility to the followers.
    • We will outline and explain the 5 Ways of Being from our authenticity to relinquishing control to being available to our followers.
    • We will identify and discuss the 10 Characteristics of the Servant leader from Listening and Healing to Stewardship and community.
    • We will close with how to begin this journey of Servant Leadership of service and mentorship.
