CMJTS works with businesses in all sectors and job seekers of all ages to support economic self-sufficiency and regional economic growth. Tim Zipoy will explore how CMJTS’ work-based training options can benefit your business and community. He will explore with you new ways to grow and access talent through career pathway training, internships and volunteer programs, and sector partnerships, associations, and job fairs. This informative presentation is interactive and responsive to your business needs.
Objectives are:
- Understand and know how to access the business resources and training options available through CMJTS and the Minnesota workforce Center System.
- Learn how the local and regional labor market affects your business recruitment strategies.
- Discover what businesses like yours are doing to address the current labor shortage.
- Identify partnerships that will enhance your business and advance your community’s success.
This seminar will be presented by Tim Zipoy.
Tim Zipoy is a Business Service Coordinator with Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services (CMJTS), a not for profit Employment and Training partner within the Minnesota Workforce Center system. His office is located at the Minnesota workforce Center in Monticello. Tim has been with CMJTS for 26 years primarily focusing on workforce development, business assistance, economic development and collaboration with education.
Tim serves on the Board of Directors with Central Minnesota Manufacturers’ Association and chairs the organization’s workforce development committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors with the Wright County Economic Development Partnership. Tim is an Aspen Institute Sector Skills Academy Fellow. He’s serving his third term with the public school Board of Education in his hometown district of Kimball and is the vice chair with this group.
