    Post-Covid Resilience and Mental Health

Dr. Melissa Baatman Mork returns to explore the four factors clinical psychologists will consdier when making decisions regarding mental health and mental illness. Dr. Mork is Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology, Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul. Her doctorate is in clinical and forensic psychology. She is a Certified Humor Professional, a grief coach and author of the book, "Navigating Grief with Humor".

In this session, we will discuss losses during covid and factors in post-covid recovery.  We will also discuss topics and questions germane to participants in attendance and the season we are currently living in. Learning objectives are:

    • Learn the four “D’s” for mental illness that clinical psychologists consider when making a diagnosis
    • Discuss covid-related losses and post-covid recovery
    • Formulate questions and explore responses and solutions in the area of mental health.

The target audience for this seminar is HR professionals and any business owners. As an HR professional in these challenging times when do we know it is time to seek help for a mental illness?  What can post-covid recovery and self-care look like?  And what are the questions we still need to ask?
