    The target audience for this seminar is HR professionals and any small business owners.  Employment engagement for better retention has been a hot topic for several years.  How to get it?  Will management support it?  Management wants company growth and higher profits.

    How does HR get the buy in of a profit thinking management to support a program to help retain employees?  Beneficial Engagement.

    This presentation is the story of how one company changed its management style, educated its workforce and brought everyone on board to contribute to the new company culture of working together.

    • Getting the buy-in of management – How Continuous Improvement – what is it and how does it benefit both management and staff?

    • Educating the workforce – Teaching the basics of business to jump start your program.  Getting your workforce to have realistic expectations.

    • Learn how to keep the program fun and relevant – How to use cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement Games.

    This seminar will be presented by Donna Ploof.  Donna has 13 years with Trusted Employees.  She specializes in FCRA Compliance, Criminal Background Checks, Employment Verifications and Drug Testing.  Donna brings a broad base of expertise to help her clients and their applicants.  Donna has a BS in Marketing and has completed FCRA Compliance through NAPBS (Nat’l Assoc. of Professional Background Screeners).  Her speaking engagements take her around the country.  As an expert trial witness, her knowledge is used to cover proper screening methods.

    Donna is a member of TCSHRM, SHRM and MASPA.  She believes that being active in the HR community is important to understanding the needs and pressures of the HR professional.  She is also Board Secretary for South West Options for Women in Hopkins, MN.  She lives with her husband, daughters and two cats in Chanhassen, MN.  She enjoys spending time in her garden, playing any one of her 4 guitars and is part of the hand bell choir at her church.
